Citygrow: Bronx & Brooklyn Hydro
After a decade-long drug epidemic, Brooklyn and The Bronx had become food deserts. We knew that hydroponics and rooftop gardening were ways to provide our community with the tools & resources necessary to grow their own food & medicine. We made growing in the city our family business.

To bridge the gap, we partnered with local leaders to create a community health program aimed at revitalizing Bruckner ave. through food justice and neighborhood policing.

We provided free classes & resources at both our Bronx and Brooklyn locations.

At the the time there was little understanding of urban farming and zero tolerance for all things associated with cannabis in NYC .

With support from local officials we campaigned to reclaim abandoned lots for community gardens and provide tenant with access to green rooftops and spaces.
